I’m Elvin, 25 years old, and I live in Baku. I studied Civil Engineering at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
My creative side has always encouraged me to dive into new projects, take the lead, and enjoy different experiences. That’s why I can proudly say I’ve tried my hand at various professions!
My passion for music, especially the Eurovision Song Contest, led me to create Azerbaijan’s first Eurovision blog, “12xal,” in 2018. What began as a solo project has turned into an amazing team of over 20 members from more than 10 countries! I’m so excited about how far we’ve come!
The team I founded is currently monitoring the Eurovision landscape in the country. We participate in various projects and events across different countries each year, regularly appear as guests on television programs, and maintain an active presence on multiple social media platforms.
During my university years, I volunteered as a Social Media Marketing Manager at Azerbaijan State Television. I was responsible for managing the social media accounts of various television programs, where I not only made posts but also created engaging content.
After that, I worked as an SMM Manager in several different places, and when I applied to the Kontakt Home retail chain, I found a perfect fit for my skills. During my time there, I gained valuable experience, especially in how to effectively connect with customers and build strong relationships.
In my eighth month at the company, I was thrilled to receive an exciting offer from the marketing and e-commerce department, marking the start of a new adventure! As a mobile videographer, I had the opportunity to create engaging video reviews for various household appliances and furniture designed for sales. This role sparked a wave of interest in the country, and as our team grew, we began tackling even bigger and more exciting projects together!
As a result, I gained a new professional skill.
Of course, it doesn’t end there! With my multitasking skills and the experience I’ve built up, I’ve had the chance to dive into various roles like content creator, graphic designer, artist manager, and project manager, and I’m still enjoying every moment of it!
